Tao Liu is an active composer and score producer who mainly works for film, TV, and multi-media projects.

Graduated from Beijing Film Academy and the University of Southern California

Tao has a doctorate degree in film scoring and film study.

Tao's credits include box-office success Forever Young ($117million), Wandering Earth (over $700million), Academy Award Best Score Shortlisted Film Slipaway, 70 episode TV New World (ranked No.1 in Most watched TV series in 2020), Student Academy Award winner Higher Sky, Jerry Bruickheimer film Deliver Us From Evil, Bill Borden film Dragon Nest, San Diego Comic Con Best Animation First Bloom and many more.

Tao's strengths including writing big Hollywood-ish dramatic music as well as intimate subtle cues and everything in between. He has a unique and effective way of enhancing the story with melody, harmony, special sound and orchestration. Tao's goal is to give each project a distinct music signature.
